Rionegro-Antioquia, July 16, 2023. F-AIR COLOMBIA 2023, held
at the José María Córdova International Airport in Rionegro-Antioquia,
closed its eleventh edition with a resounding success, attracting more than 47,000
people, including amateur and specialized audiences, as well as general visitors, during the
5-day event.
The fair, dedicated to military and civil aviation, continues to establish itself as a
global benchmark by offering a varied and experimental agenda that covers
various aspects of the sector.
The event was held across three stages, each designed to enhance the
attendees' experience:
- The trade pavilion, adapted for the trade show and academic agenda,
stood out for showcasing innovative projects and the development of the regional and national aeronautical industry . Cutting-edge topics such as satellite missions and artificial intelligence, fundamental to the country's progress,
were also addressed .
The aircraft exhibit, the event's second venue, was the space
chosen for the static display, allowing visitors to closely appreciate the
dimensions and unique characteristics of each aircraft. This display proved to be
a valuable opportunity to illustrate the diverse missions these
aircraft perform in their respective areas of application.
- One of the new features at F-AIR COLOMBIA 2023 was F-DRON, a
dedicated space for unmanned aircraft. The presentations by the 16
participating companies boosted South Korea's support for the development of this
industry in Colombia.
F-AIR COLOMBIA 2023 also stood out for its ability to foster
significant international business. Companies from Bolivia, Colombia, El Salvador,
the United States, Guatemala, the Netherlands, and Venezuela expressed strong
interest in investing, establishing commercial partnerships worth more than
$21 million, demonstrating the success and importance of this event for
the country's aeronautical and economic sectors.
For its part, the Colombian Air Force once again demonstrated its commitment
to the development of the country's aeronautical industry, science, and space power,
while reaffirming its role in serving and protecting citizens from different
regions of the country. The various air shows in Brazil and the United States
demonstrated the strategic and military capabilities of these countries.
With a highly positive outcome, we eagerly await the next edition of
this event, which will continue to drive development and collaboration in
the aerospace industry in Colombia and beyond.
